Duties: A well-established business based in Haverhill, has an immediate requirement for a standalone Credit Controller to join their busy, but friendly finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Credit Controller is responsible for the collection of all debts & client payments for the business. To be successful within this role, you must have at least 3 years recent credit control experience, within a corporate environment and are able to take full control of all the ledgers involved. Other duties include the production of monthly reports, monthly sales ledger control reconciliations, the production of EC VAT Intrastat reports, to carry out credit checks & set customer credit limits, resolving queries both internally & externally, keep in regular contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment and ensure that all system notes are input in a timely and accurate manner. This is a very active role, so we are looking for a Credit Controller who has a strong character, can manage their own time effectively and is able to prioritise their own workload, who can also build relationships quickly with internal & external customers. Duties: This growing, well known charity based in Cambridge is seeking a Part Time Management Accountant to work 20 to 24 hours a week. The varied role requires someone to prepare and present management accounts and variance analysis to the CEO and Trustees using Quickbooks and Excel. You will also work with the CEO and budget holders to produce and present the annual budget and you will work with the Company Secretary to produce the statutory accounts. In addition, you will manage one Accounts Assistant and review their work, ensuring that costs have been allocated to projects correctly and questioning unusual postings. You will be capable of preparing a complex payroll for 46 people including calculating varying shift and overtime payments. The organisation will recruit a candidate who is Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified Through Experience and who has at least two years of working in a senior financial position. It would be ideal if they had worked within a charity and had knowledge of such things as Gift Aid, however this is not essential as guidance can be given. It is key, because of the nature of the charity, that the candidate has excellent communication skills and is able to articulate why they want to work for this particular organisation.
