Audit Manager
This highly respected accountancy practice has an opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to head up and develop its audit team.
You will have responsibility for leading and managing all audit, accountancy, taxation and work-related requirements for the firm’s audit clients. Specifically, you will schedule and plan audits, prioritising and managing the team’s workload to meet deadlines, research technical and audit issues and communicate audit findings to senior management and clients.
As well as being qualified with a minimum of three years’ experience of working in practice, you will be technically strong with a good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and basic tax planning. You will also know and be able to use accounting packages such as IRIS, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks and be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
