This leading Cambridge employer is recruiting a Contract Accountant for a one year contract whilst they implement a new computer system. Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding and documenting current processes within the management accounts team and reviewing for process efficiencies and improvements
• Helping the team transition to new processes
• Assisting with analysis of management accounts
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Finalising month end journals
• Assisting with preparing the quarterly reforecast and annual budget

The role requires the following skills:

• You must be qualified, part qualified or qualified through experience
• Strong Excel including VLookups, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables
• Solid double entry
• Strong communication skills at all levels
