My client, based just outside Ely, has been successful in winning a large contract and as a result now urgently needs a good data input clerk with Excel skills for 9 months. There is a possibility that this role will become permanent but this cannot be guaranteed at this point. Key responsibilities will include:
• Inputting quotes from suppliers into the company’s bespoke system
• Inputting purchase orders
• Inputting sales quote information
• Inputting information into sales orders
In order to be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience of numerical and alpha data input as well as the ability to pay attention to detail and be accurate. Previous experience of commercial bids, tenders or purchasing would be an advantage but is not essential. The company would look at people with an accounts background or a strong administration background where input has been important.
In return the company offers a company pension scheme, where the company contributes 6%, a death in service scheme, a cycle to work scheme and 24 days’ holiday. Please note that £2000 of the quoted basic salary will be paid on completion of the contract.
