My client is a fast growth company and is urgently seeking to recruit someone who is qualified or qualified by experience to support operational management and finance to analyse and report on contracts.

The role has three key elements. These are :
  • Weekly reporting and business partnering - c. 50% of the role
  • Margin erosion and investigation - 25% of the role
  • Systems and process improvement - 25% of the role
You will have excellent analytical abilities to investigate variances on contracts totalling £65 million. The areas you will analyse will include labour, stock and WIP, amongst others with the aim of maximising profit. Your commercial sense will allow you to see the impact of variances across the business. Your good communication skills will enable you to liaise with different areas of the business to solve any issues you may discover. You will have strong Excel skills and be able to make suggestions to improve or automate systems to create efficiencies. 

In order to gain an interview, you must be able to demonstrate strong Excel and analytical skills coupled with good communication abilities. You will be  commercially aware and a self starter with an enquiring mind.
