Due to the growth of my client's business, this Finance Manager role has been newly created. It is an ideal role for someone looking for their first move out of practice into industry but would also suit a Financial Accountant with strong technical skills looking for the next step in their career. Key aspects will include:

  • Managing and developing a team of 4 transactional staff
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensuring all controls are robust and well documented
  • Driving the successful completion of the statutory audit inclusing the production of the statutory accounts
  • Sense checking the management accounts
  • Acting as the Group expert on VAT and PAYE matters
  • Company Secretarial duties
To be successful in this role, you will ideally be qualified and used to managing staff and will have strong financial accounting skills. You will have a meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong communication skills.
