My client is a growing international life sciences business with headquarters in Cambridge. They are now searching for an outstanding ACA or ACCA, who has trained in practice and who has already gained some experience in industry but now wants a real opportunity to see their career develop further. Initial aspects of this Finance Manager role will include:
  • Overseeing and and checking monthly management accounts for multiple entities
  • Statutory accounts
  • Liaising with the company's tax advisors on tax computations
  • Consolidating accounts of the US and UK entities
  • Overseeing and checking payrolls for several companies
  • Assisting with budgeting
  • Helping to develop the internal controls
To be successful in this Financial Manager role, you must be someone with the capability to not only do what is required but someone who is constantly thinking about ways to improve on what is already done. In addition, you must have strong interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail.
