This is an exciting role for a recently qualified accountant to step up into a Finance Manager role, reporting to the FD. The company is growing quickly and so there will be plenty of opportunities for personal development. Key aspects of this Finance Manager/Recently Qualified Accountant role include:
  • Looking at systems and procedures and making suggestions as to how these can be improved
  • Managing and mentoring 2 ledger clerks
  • Sense checking nominal ledger journals
  • Variance analysis regarding costs, expenses and margins
  • Stock provisions
  • VAT Returns
  • Overseeing payroll
  • Providing support to the FD with Board Packs 
In order to be successful in the Finance Manager/Recently Qualified Accountant role you must be able to demonstrate strong experience of improving processes, managing staff and have a can-do attitude.
