Interim Inventory Accountant/Systems Accountant with

My client, based near Ely, has a six month Interim role for an Inventory Accountant/Systems Accountant. This role will involve:

Analysing, mapping and documenting inventory financial processes using JD Edwards
Automating and creating BOM's from manual information
Engaging with business stake holders including the MD and General Manager
Testing system changes to ensure the accounting entries in the GL and stock interlink correctly

To be successful in this Inventory Accountant/Systems Accountant role, you will be able to prove that you have experience of the following:

Creation of BOM's
Valuation of inventory at different stages of the manufacturing process
Implementing BOM's in an ERP system
Experience of accounting for raw materials, WIP and finished goods within a manufacturing environment
Utilisation of direct labour reporting using an ERP system
Overhead/labour cost absorption into inventory
