Are you looking for an opportunity which will allow you to progress to becoming a Financial Controller? Then look no further. My client, based in Ely, is an SME. They are keen to recruit someone with the following skill base:
  • Able to prepare the monthly management accounts with a full supporting pack and commentary
  • Able to analyse the company's performance
  • Able to ensure that processes work efficiently
  • Able to mentor, motivate and manage staff
  • Able to check work done by junior staff ensuring its accuracy
The company is particularly interested in what type of person you are. Key aspects they will focus on include:
  • The drive and clear thinking to see initiatives through to the end
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders at different levels.
  • The commercial ability to look at numbers and realise when they don't make sense.
  • Strong Excel and technical skills.
  • Strong motivation to take responsibility for your own development

The company will consider people at different levels for this role. They will be interested in CV's from Part Qualified and Qualified Accountants as well as those Qualified by Experience. The salary you could be offered will be dependent on your experience to date.
