Management Accountant
Once in a while a truly fantastic opportunity comes along to broaden your career AND work for a Cambridge college. That opportunity is being looked after by Cavill Robinson.
I have known the retiring Head of Finance for many, many years and his Assistant has been promoted into his role. She is now looking for a Management Accountant, with whom she can build a great working relationship and train in areas , which you may not have covered yet.
Key aspects which you must have are:
- A strong understanding of management accounts as you will be producing these quarterly. This involves all reconciliations, balance sheet and cashflow forecasts and there are 15 - 20 cost centres.
- Strong spreadsheet skills
- Forecasting and budgeting as you will play a key role in this and liaise with different departments, assisting them to put their budgets together
- Expenditure analysis monthly
- Preparing the college's statutory accounts
- All aspects of VAT including exemptions
- Use of Sage 200
