My client is losing a valued member of staff to retirement and so need to find an equally valued replacement. Based in St Neots, the company is a UK subsidiary of a larger European organisation with 14 staff and is looking for an Office Manager. Key areas of responsibility for this Office Manager role will include:

  • Leading and motivating a team of staff. 
  • Handling complaints and queries from customers and staff. 
  • Introducing new process is an improving existing ones.
  • Supervising the work of administrative staff.
  • Training and staff development.
  • Credit control and basic purchase ledger
  • Organising meetings and events. 
  • Maintaining offices and facilities.
  • Managing the company car lease programme and insurances. 
  • Managing the company office and mobile phone contracts. 
  • Managing the company healthcare programme.
  • Maintaining office policies and health and safety procedures. 
  • Data responsibilities, including GDPR.
  • HR responsibility including associated staff appraisals and training
  • Ad hoc duties full stop.
In order to be successful in your application for this Office Manager role,  You must have experience of managing a busy sales office and be an articulate communicator with excellent written and oral English. You will also be a strong people manager. You will be a competent IT user in a range of software packages including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and preferably SAP.  You will be able to handle complaints and queries and have the ability to drive through change.
