My client has a number of products which they design, manufacture and support. They are poised for growth and are looking for a qualified accountant with good all round skills for a stand alone position to run their finance department. This is a superb opportunity for someone who wants to have influence in a business and who wants to shape the role within the finance function. - All aspects of monthly management account preparation and production
- Overhead, gross margin and variance analysis and for the Executive and Management team
- Maintaining the financial model
- Working capital and cashflow management
- Accounting for stock
- Managing the ledgers but you will be expected to outsource the purchase ledger
- Leading the annual budgeting process
- Managing the statutory reporting cycles and liaising with outside accountants on this
- Be a qualified accountant
- Good communication skills across different levels
- Previous experience of financial models
- High level of excel skills
- Solution focussed
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders both internal and external
- 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays
