Senior Purchase Ledger

My client, based north of Cambridge, is looking for somebody who is a Senior Accounts Payable person. This would be a great role for someone with good Accounts Payable experience, who wants to take the next step in the career and start to manage people.  Responsibilities include:
 

• Manage motivating and developing a team of two accounts payable clerks, who along with this person deal with 4000 invoices a month
• Running weekly payment runs for all suppliers and subcontractors.
• Checking, approving, and posting accurate and timely accounts payable and subcontractor accruals.
• Banking and bank reconciliations.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Accounts Payable role will be enthusiastic about purchase ledger and very accurate in their work. They will have a strong customer service ethos and the drive and ability to work under their own initiative. 

For this Senior Accounts Payable role, the company offers study support of needed, full training and support on the management aspect of the role, 25 days' holiday, hybrid working ( 3 days in the office/2 days at home), on site parking and a pension.
