The business has recently been taken over and their parent company has already completed three acquisitions since then. This means that there is real scope for you to learn everything you need to progress to the next step of your qualifications - and they are offering study support!

 They are primarily looking for the following for this Qualified AAT Finance Assistant role:
  • Strong double entry skills to check and maintain all general ledger postings, journal adjustments and production of Trial Balances
  • The ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • These two items amount to 50% of this qualified AAT Finance Assistant role.
Other aspects of this AAT Finance Assistant role, do not necessarily need you to have already done them but you must be able to show the aptitude and enthusiasm to learn. They include items such as:
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Fixed Assets
  • Assisting with revenue recognition and reporting
  • Payroll
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Providing financial support to cross functional business teams
  • Other projects or duties as required - and there may be some exciting projects ahead
