My client has a varied role for an accountant, who enjoys working for owner managed SME's. Based in St Ives, you will be hands on as well as someone who liaises with the owners on financial aspects of the business. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Month end accounts
  • Assisting with year end accounts
  • Working with the sales team regarding contracts
  • Analysing variances on ongoing contracts 
  • Introducing new procedures where this would help the finance department to run more effectively
  • Ledger work including some inputting
  • Bank reconciliations

To be considered for this role, you will have broad accounting experience, preferably gained within a medium to small owner managed SME coupled with a flexible approach to your work. This will be a role working in an office.
