Ideally, they are looking for a QBE or someone, who is AAT qualified, who has worked in a practice. If that's you, I'm sure you want to know what you'll be doing. Read on!!
  • You will be producing management accounts, budgets and cashflows using using Quickbooks, Xero and Dext. You don't need to have used all of these systems but the client would like you to have used either Quickbooks or Xero.
  • Your communication skills will be excellent as you will be explaining accounting results to clients and how they can improve them
  • You will prepare and review VAT Returns and handle HMRC queries
  • You will prepare and review statutory accounts.
  • If you have had experience of reviewing juniors' work, then the client could use that experience but it is not essential and you can develop into this part of the role.
  • You must have strong Excel skills and have had experience of some of the following: Quickbooks, IRIS, Dext,Xero.
