Assistant Management Accountant

My client is one of the largest employers in Cambridge and now has an opportunity for a bright and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant/Management Accountant to develop their career. Key aspects of the role will be as follows:

 

• Extensive use of spreadsheets, formulae and pivot tables for forecasting purposes and analysis

• A/P and A/R analysis

• Journals, accruals prepayments and recharges

• Formalising month end reports and inputting actuals  

• Drilling down into variances by liaising with budget holders to ascertain why spend took place

 

My client’s ideal candidate for this Assistant Management Accountant/Management Accountant role would be someone who is either part way through their AAT or has finished it or who has embarked on an ACCA or CIMA qualification and can demonstrate good Excel and debit and credit skills coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
