My client is a major international business with an outstanding reputation. They are now seeking an Assistant Tax Accountant to work closely with their Senior Tax Manager. Responsibilities will include:
 
• Preparation of financial information for c. 4 UK Group companies corporate tax returns and liaising with external tax advisors
• Reviewing overseas corporate tax returns
• Liaising with overseas tax advisors for year end tax accounting and the management of overseas payments
• Preparing direct tax rate forecasts and tax payment forecasts
• Preparation of R+D claims
• UK tax accounting for year end reporting and consolidation of UK position with overseas subsidiaries tax accounting provided by external providers
• Review of applications to HMRC for customs special procedures
• Preparation of transfer pricing documentation
• Liaising with internal shipping department to create solutions to manage VAT and customs duties for international contracts
• Supporting the Senior tax manager in preparing tax models for international contract bids
