Contract Accounts Assistant
My client is a friendly SME based in St Ives. They urgently require a good all round Accounts Assistant for a varied six month contract which has a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right person. Responsibilities in this Contract Accounts Assistant role include:
- Purchase Ledger - posting purchase invoices and checking supplier statements
- Sales Ledger - posting invoices, allocating receipts and emailing monthly statements
- Processing bank payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT submissions
- Processing staff expense claims and reconciling business cards
- Calculating hours for payroll submission
- Assist in all areas to cover staff absences
Benefits for this Contract Accounts Assistant role include 22 days' holiday pro rata, a 3pm finish on Fridays and free parking.
