My client is a friendly SME based in St Ives. They urgently require a good all round Accounts Assistant for a varied six month contract which has a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right person. Responsibilities in this Contract Accounts Assistant role include:

  • Purchase Ledger - posting purchase invoices and checking supplier statements
  • Sales Ledger - posting invoices, allocating receipts and emailing monthly statements
  • Processing bank payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Quarterly VAT submissions
  • Processing staff expense claims and reconciling business cards
  • Calculating hours for payroll submission
  • Assist in all areas to cover staff absences
