My client is looking for an enthusiastic and methodical Accounts Assistant for a 10 month contract.
Duties will include:
• Processing credit/debit card, cash and cheque transactions
• Matching receipts to remittance advices received by email and post
• Allocating all bank credit transactions in Xero accounting system
• Reconcile deferred duty/Vat reports with HMRC statements and payments
• Checking and recording petty cash and credit card expenses
• Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes and inputting these onto the system
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Setting up supplier payment runs
• Allocating and posting payments in Xero accounting system
• General administration duties
You will need a keen eye for detail and have the ability to prioritise your workload in line with business needs.
