Contract Purchasing and Logistics Administrator
My client, based just outside Ely, has been successful in winning a large contract and as a result now urgently needs a Contract Purchasing and Logistics Administrator for 12 months. There is a possibility that this role will become permanent but this cannot be guaranteed at this point. Key responsibilities will include:
• Raising of purchase orders to suppliers
• Transferring information from the company’s bespoke system to Excel
• Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders
• Checking that goods have been delivered and that invoice issues have been resolved before clearing down the purchase invoices
• Allocating costs
In order to be successful in your application for this Contract Purchasing and Logistics Administrator role, you must be a competent user of Excel, Outlook and Word and be able to demonstrate previous experience of data entry and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Previous experience of working in purchasing or logistics or a purchase ledger department would be advantageous. The company would also consider strong administrators.
In return the company offers a company pension scheme, where the company contributes 6%, a death in service scheme, a cycle to work scheme and 24 days’ holiday. Please note that £2000 of the quoted basic salary will be paid on completion of the contract.
