Based in Cambridge, this is a company which really cares about developing and looking after its staff. This is a hybrid role. As Head of Outsourced Bookkeeping you will look after a small team with an interesting portfolio of clients in different sectors of industry. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, mentoring and overseeing a team of 2
  • Acting as an advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing  tailored virtual finance solutions to meet their business objectives
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing the virtual accounting process, including bookkeeping, payments, financial reporting and tax compliance
  • Developing robust systems and processes for clients
  • Identifying and evaluating virtual finance technologies and software solutions to stream line processes
In order to gain an interview, you will need the following:
  • Ideally, be ACA, ACCA,CIMA qualified
  • Have proven experience in a senior leadership role within a UK accountancy firm
  • Have expertise in virtual finance technologies, cloud based accounting systems and financial software applications
