My client based near Letchworth, is looking for a Payroll Administrator/ Payroller who will be a key member of their payroll team. Your key responsibilities in this Payroll Administrator role will be:

  • Processing client payrolls using Star Payroll Professional 
  • Ensuring correct tax/NI rates and relevant certificates are in place for each employee
  • Completing and submitting all PAYE and NIC documentation including P45's, P46's, P38's, and P46car
  • Calculation of employee and employer pension contributions
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Dealing with all HMRC enquiries
  • Production, reconciliation and submission of P35, P14 and P60 forms

In order to be successful for this Payroll Administrator/Payroller role you must be a self motivated individual who wants to progress. You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience of client payroll either from a payroll bureau or an accounts practice
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately
  • A real eye for detail
  • Good computer skills
  • Prior use of Star Professional Payroll would be an advantage
